She has been making horsehair products since 1992, which she has been doing with great joy and excellent artistic sense for 33 years now. From 1992 to 1998, for 6 years, she learned the tricks of this rare folk craft in the National Horsehair Maker Camp organized by György Németh during the summers and developed her knowledge there. The works of Sándor Bodrogi influenced her. She became close to folk art in 1986, first working with beadwork, but was captivated by this new material, the delicate technique, and the activity that required great patience. This almost forgotten shepherd folk art …

Andrea Barcsai-Debrődi – Rebelle Beton Design
I am Andrea Barcsai-Debrődi, the creator of Rebelle Beton Design products. Concrete as a craft material was not a conscious choice at all, we found each other completely by chance. I quickly developed the feeling that this is the material I can work with in the long term, which provides me with continuous inspiration. I try to associate concrete with as wide a range and as different materials as possible. Currently, the combination of concrete and waste glass plays a major role in my daily work. In this way, I can also reuse accidentally broken glass objects and use them to …

My name is Andrea Nagy (neé Andrea Pásztor) and I was born in 1972. I live in Isaszeg. In 1996, I took a course at the Gödöllő Cultural Center with Mrs. Eszti Nácsa. In the summer of 1998, I successfully completed a basket weaving camp with Károly Balogh in Nádudvar, and at his suggestion, I completed the Vocational School of Folk Crafts. Anna – Dana
I am Anna, the creator, designer and builder of the Hungarian brand Dana. I specialize in making miniature plant talismans for my fellow nature lovers using real dried flowers. I use eco-resin to preserve the tiny plants. The jewellery has the magical effect of drawing our attention to the beauty of nature. In this hectic world, we need this very much. My study overlooks the forest. It is here that I press and dry the magical flora of the Bükk and the Bükk-alja. In my garden there are many wild flowers alongside the cultivated ones. With loving care I collect …
Balázs Kiss – Recyclista
Cycling and environmental awareness have always been part of my life. I work as an architect and since 2013 I have been making mostly watches – but also jewellery and other accessories – from used bicycle parts. Used sprockets, bike chains, cranks or bike internals – waste for others, all possible raw materials for me! The main sources of parts are bicycle repair shops, workshops, and bike shops. The scraps from here are dismantled and carefully cleaned several times before being reassembled. I am inspired by the raw material itself, the variety of parts, the beauty of old pieces. Precisely …
Beáta Kotesz
I am Beáta Kotesz, a teacher and coach by education, and a jewelry maker-eco-designer and crafts instructor by hobby. I made my first jewelry from coffee capsules in 2016, and I have been present at design and craft fairs and online platforms under the brand name Bettinstyle since the beginning of 2019. I chose this exciting technique because I am fascinated by the fact that I can use such a simple and great, recyclable material. These little colorful miracles pass through our hands every day, but we still don’t attach much importance to them. Thanks to my creative approach, after …
Béla Kozák – Vascsoda
Béla Kozák ‘Vascsoda’ (Iron magic) was born in Budapest in the spring of 1969. When he was a child, he moved with his parents to a small market town, Mezőtúr. He has lived here ever since. The small town is divided into two by the Berettyó River. The proximity of small forests, fields and several rivers, the beauty of nature, had a great influence on him. His love for nature encourages him to live an environmentally conscious lifestyle. He had the idea of ‘Vascsoda’ in 2019 and since protecting the environment is important to him, he creates his works from …
Csilla Berkes
I am Csilla Berkes, sculptor, I graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Pécs University. I work mainly with metal in my creations and I also prefer to use recycled elements in almost all aspects of my work. I have been involved in the decoration of the O.Z.O.R.A. Festival for years where I and my team create large installations and sceneries that enhance the particular atmosphere of the festival. In addition to sculpture, I create resonating tongue drums from recycled gas cylinders, which – thanks to their clean shape and industrial aesthetics – function not only as instruments but also …
Csilla Írisz Kövesdi – Bizsumanufaktúra
My name is Csilla Írisz Kövesdi. I’ve been making jewelry since 2016. My original profession was a goldsmith, but I also worked in a jewelry store, so I experienced both sides. I didn’t want to go back to a multinational company when my first baby was born. Furthermore I could only go back to mass production in the goldsmith profession. That’s why I started making and repairing jewelry. I had a lot of jewelry and often got bored them. I took these necklaces and earrings apart and put them back together, which is how the re-jewelry was born. In addition, …
