I am a self-taught painter and I have been active since 2014. I mostly work with acrylic paint – on canvas, wood or upcycled denim. Painting on denim is relatively recent for me – I try to give some old/worn denim jackets and pants new life as a fun way of creative upcycling.
My very first work was inspired by a dream I had; my art has a spiritual feel to it. My reoccurring topics are nature, animals, surreal creatures, and the mystical night sky: the Moon, the stars, galaxies etc.
For 5 years I had an art shop and gallery in the centre of Godollo, where I also welcomed guest artists/exhibitors from time to time.
EYCIIR is short for the motto “Everything You Can Imagine Is Real” – a quote by Pablo Picasso -, which is the name I used when I started publishing my paintings. This saying resonates with me because it not only fits the whimsical vibe of my works but I also like it as a life philosophy: I believe in manifestation, the power of positive thoughts.
I am lucky to have the opportunity to exhibit my creations regularly, which I am happy to do. I am always working on something new to stay inspired.
