Goldberg Manufactory (EN)

In November 2023, Péter had the idea to realize an old dream that he had been planning for several years. The first attempt was a Tarantula, which turned out so well that as soon as Gergő saw it, he joined the manufactory. It took many months for them to find that particular “path”, but it looked promising from the very beginning. They only use old watches, pocket watches, and alarm or wall clock parts for their work. They generally depict animals, but also create nude female figures, skulls, and robot figures; they try to realize whatever comes to mind. In September 2024, they were able to participate as guest exhibitors with two of their works (Hummingbird and Nude Lady) at the Budapest Contemporary Kortárs exhibition and now in February 2025 at the Art and Antique exhibition (with Berci Bagoly) also in Budapest at the “Bálna” event center. They have created their own workshop in Vác, where new wonders are born every day. Usually, a piece of work is completed in 20-40 hours, depending on its size. In addition, they produce small, simple handmade sculptures using stones and cutlery. Their goal is to make their work known to as many people as possible.
