My name is József Bíró, a car mechanic and I’m a scrap metal sculptor as a hobby. Being a car mechanic, I know how much scrap material is produced and ends up in the trash. I give a new life to these other worthless and worn out objects that end up in the trash and junkyards. When I see one of these objects I am immediately inspired by its shape and form, which gives me a starting point for my next creation. I make my sculptures by welding which are mostly made of metal, parts, screws, used tools.
