László Klein

Welcome to Eco Art Gallery, I am László Klein!

I come from a small village in Heves county, with Swabian blood in my veins, which I can mention as a determining factor. Already in my teens, I was interested in the old objects and tools of the past, both tangible and still to be found. I collected, cleaned, restored and looked after them, but mostly I looked for the people whose lives they shaped, helped or simply accompanied.

I am a coachbuilder by trade, and that is only important because the techniques passed on by my master are the foundation of my life to this day. I have brought many veteran cars and engines back to life through the knowledge, will and magic of the past. I love shaping iron and metal, recreating the elements of old wonders that can only be found in their contours.

Of course, my hobby is also to bring metals to life, to reimagine their true existence while preserving them for posterity. My motto could be “to create”, but in a way that makes it lovable for today’s man, taking into account the past and making it visible to others. I give new life to objects, jewellery, which I give new life to by reconsidering their existence, their soul comes out. They bring back the man, the feeling, the life they once had, the Master who invented them and created them with his hands, his work, his sweat.

Who am I? – and here is the point. The one who revives these objects, who brings colour and soul to them, who brings joy back to them, who puts a little of his own soul into them, who reopens the simple world of the beautiful past, so that we can see the man, the thought, the simplicity behind it.

No two objects are the same and I don’t want to be a mass producer. That makes the jewellery on our hands and the objects in our homes unique. People who love to have unique things in their lives become unique themselves. I encourage everyone to become unique and if I can help with that, I’m happy to create!
