Péter Szautner

My name is Péter Szautner, I was born on January 15, 1990 in Zirc, and I have been living in Csetény since childhood. After my school years, I graduated as a welder in Balatonfüred in 2008. After the training, I started working quickly, and from 2008 I worked as a qualified welder, where I gained several years of professional experience.

My interest in welding and the knowledge I gained during my work later led me in a new direction, when in 2020 I started making sculptures from scrap metal as a hobby. Initially, I made works of art exclusively for my family members and acquaintances as gifts, but as time went by, interest in my works became more and more important, so it was a natural step for me to start creating sculptures to order.

For me, the creative process is not only fun but also exploring the world of metals, shapes, and colours. Each piece of art that forms in my hands tells a unique story. Sculptures made of metal are unique not only in their aesthetics but also in the creative work behind them and the emotional connection to them.

The use of scrap metal is not only my artistic expression but also reflects my commitment to sustainability. Every piece I make not only gets a new life but also an environmentally conscious choice that is born in the spirit of waste reduction and recycling.

The initial hobby has now taken on a more serious form, and after the orders I have made many unique pieces, be it decorative works, eye-catching sculptures, or personalized gifts. Giving people joy and giving a lasting experience with their creations is the greatest recognition for me, and feedback always confirms that I am heading in the right direction.

The peculiarity of metal sculptures is that each piece has its own story, and these stories come to life through the forms. The needs of the clients, my personal wishes, and my artistic ideas all play a role in the creative process. Each piece of art combines technical knowledge and creativity, which is a real challenge for me.

I am proud to be able to combine the welding profession and art. Making sculptures gives me the opportunity to combine my creativity and professional knowledge in a form that has lasting value. My goal is to reach as many people as possible with what I do, and for my work to contribute to making the places and people for whom they are intended to be unique and special.

If you are interested in any kind of metal sculpture, decoration, or gift, feel free to contact me, and I am sure that I can realize your ideas with unique creations.
