I was born in 1962 in Szombathely.

In 1980 I graduated from the Budapest School of Fine and Applied Arts, majoring in decorative sculpture. My masters were Tibor Borbás, László Kutas, Lajos Orr, Béla Tóth and Mihály Mészáros. In 1989 I graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, majoring in stone sculpture and restoration. My master sculptor was Pál Kő. I got married in 1981, my wife Katalin Jankó is a special education teacher. We have three daughters, six grandchildren, and we live in Gödölő.

My exhibitions:

My first solo exhibition opened at the Gödölői Gallery in 1999.

My second solo exhibition was at the Aegon Gallery in 2002.

In 2005, I was a founding member of the Gödöllői Művészetbarátok (GÖMB) group, and our first exhibition, entitled “Five Gödöllői Sculptors”, opened that same year. I regularly participate in the thematic exhibitions of GÖMB.

In 2009, I was invited to the summer open-air exhibition in the German city of Kevelaer, where I created a large-scale grassy earth sculpture entitled “Mother Earth”.

My third solo exhibition opened in April 2011 at the Székely Bertalan Székely Studio in Szadai.

In April 2022, on my 60th birthday, my exhibition opened in Gödöllő, at the Monád Gallery, where I created six portraits of writers and poets. I expanded this to twelve in 2023. I am currently touring the country and Hungarian territories beyond the border with these twelve portraits. Makó, Veszprém, Pécs, Szolnok, Szombathely, Zalaegerszeg, Nagyvárad, Tornalja, Várpalota and Szeged are the first stops.

I have been publishing short stories in the Liget magazine since 2004. Two of my short story collections were published by Orpheusz Publishing: “Voluntary Exile” (2013) and “Euridice is Dead” (2019). In 2022, my storybook was published by Magyar Napló Publishing under the title “Kerekerdei mesék” (Round Forest Tales), and in 2024, its sequel was published by Naspolya Publishing under the title “New Round Forest Adventures”.
